Matt Davenport productions, the producer of last year’s terrific ON BROADWAY!, presents the very best of America’s top pop music with this colorful, high-energy spectacular. A live six-piece band rocks the house in 50’s, Motown, Disco, Country, and Blues styles as a cast of six incredible singer/dancers make the enormous center-stage jukebox come alive with lights and sounds! Featuring hits like “Respect”, “Whole Lotta Shakin’”, and “Soulman”, American Jukebox is a vigorous trip down America’s favorite musical lanes.

Banu Gibson with the New Orleans Hot Jazz

Banu Gibson brings you an evening of hot jazz with the music of “Tin Pan Alley”. A superior and swinging jazz singer, Banu includes music from the Great American Songbook such as the songs of Fats Waller, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Louie Armstrong. Backed by her band, she is a powerful force on stage, her enthusiasm and showmanship highlighted by her wide range and versatility. With an extensive repertoire of songs, Banu is creative within the boundaries of the genre, consistently inventing fresh and imaginative variations giving new life to timeless, unforgettable music.
The Nutcracker

Returning for a second year as a bonus performance, Concert Ballet of Virginia’s full length production of the Nutcracker is a timeless Christmas tradition. Colorful costumes, beautiful music, and classical ballet combine for an enchanted performance just in time for the holiday season. This matinee will be followed by an expanded “sweets party”, a time to meet and take pictures with costumed performers while having a sweet snack. (Additional ticket required for the sweets party.)
Daniel Narducci

A classic American baritone, Daniel Narducci is a multi-faceted artist whose revered talents have been enjoyed throughout North America, Europe, and China. Since his debut with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, he has performed with many of the world’s most prestigious orchestras, played the role of Lancelot during two national tours of Camelot, and has been featured in several documentaries and programs on PBS and the BBC. An increasingly active recording artist, Daniel recently created the role of Captain Hook in the world premiere recording of Leonard Bernstein’s Peter Pan. After hearing his extraordinarily silky, ardent tone, you’ll understand why Daniel Narducci is in such high demand performing the music of Leonard Bernstein.
Stephan Moccio

Having written a string of hit songs for performers like Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman, and Josh Groban, songwriter/pianist Stephan Moccio is poised to make a name for himself as a performer in his own right. This Toronto-based luminary enjoyed an award-winning career as an adolescent, went on to conduct and arrange for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and has since shared the stage with superstars including Sarah McLaughlin, Jon Bon Jovi, and James Taylor. Stephan Moccio’s seamless merging of classical and contemporary repertoire is one of his greatest strengths.

Laughing with the Legends features hilarious impersonations of Lucille Ball, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Liberace, Fats Domino, and other icons from pop culture as well as memorable highlights from the era including a dramatic vocal rendition of “My Prayer”, a dazzling piano medley from “The Sound of Music”, and spoofs on everything from cigarette commercials to rock ‘n roll to fashions of the day. Get ready to have a “blast with the past”!
